Interestingly enough - I just had a recent discussion with a colleague on this who is moving their application to DotNet (which was "because it's more reliable than the current Fox environment" ) and that was my response to it as well.
Add to that fuel the fact that the new 2.0 framework breaks existing apps and Microsoft has a real challenge ahead of them if they want to convince developers who have not yet jumped into the DotNet waters that this is the right way to go.
I'm sure eventually it will be - but for a company that typically advocates eating their own dog food , it's a bit disappointing.
